Murtaza Talha Ali, 26, of Bahrain will make his BRAVE Combat Federation debut and professional mixed martial arts debut at “BRAVE CF 45.” Training out of KHK MMA in Bahrain, he is entering the cage as an undefeated amateur MMA fighter.

“Murtaza has been one of the stars of IMMAF for sure,” International Mixed Martial Arts Federation president Kerrith Brown said. “His skill and technical delivery has been increasing year by year.”

Talha competes in the light heavyweight division and has conquered two world titles under the IMMAF banner. The Bahraini MMA fighter belongs to “the next generation of fighters coming through from the IMMAF ranks” and “they keep going to the professional scenes better and more prepared,” Brown said.

According to Brown, Murtaza has been one of the highlights of IMMAF in recent years. When asked about the KHK MMA representative’s BRAVE CF debut, the IMMAF president said, “I expect some fireworks.”

Originally scheduled for November 12, 2020, “BRAVE CF 45” will be held at the Bahrain National Stadium in East Riffa, Bahrain on November 19, 2020. On the card is a light heavyweight match between Murtaza and Vadim Litvin, 26, of Belarus.

BRAVE CF commentator Phil Campbell believes Murtaza has the perfect blend of skills to succeed. The former said the latter is “quite simply a powerhouse wrestler with KO power,” which is “the blueprint for success in MMA.”

“He can dictate where the fight goes whether he wants to keep it on the feet, keep it standing with his defensive wrestling or if he wants to take the fight down to the ground and dominate with exquisite positional and top control, he can do that,” Campbell said of Murtaza. “I think his pro career has the potential to mirror his amateur career. You are talking about a young man who was a two-time amateur world champion.”

“He has been at the very highest level of the sport,” Campbell continued. “I believe he can replicate that as a professional.”
