13 things about Pauline Amelinckx, Filipino-Belgian beauty queen from Bohol, Philippines

 

  1. She was born on August 26, 1996 to a Belgian father and a Filipino mother.
  2. She stands 5’6″.
  3. In 2017, she graduated from Cebu Doctors’ University in Mandaue City with a degree in international studies. She majored in European studies.
  4. Representing Barangay Tubigon, she won Miss Bohol 2017. The first runner-up was Gazini Ganados who went on to become Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2019.
  5. She was Miss JCI Philippines 2017.
  6. She competed in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018. On September 16, 2018, she won the title that made her the representative of the Philippines to Global Beauty Queen along with two special awards namely Mutyang Zen Institute and Miss Avon Fashion. The international beauty pageant was supposed to take place in South Korea, which should have been her first international beauty pageant, but it was cancelled due to the tension in the Middle East at the time.
  7. During the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020, she launched a campaign called Hope in the Box. She donated boxes that contained coloring books, face masks, powdered milk and fruits to children in Bohol.
  8. She is a professional host.
  9. She is a professional runway model. She worked with several designers including Mikee Andrei.
  10. She worked as a retail and sales consultant at CWC Interiors in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines.
  11. In 2019, she was appointed as an ambassador of Yellow Boat Hope (BH), a foundation that works on the ground to improve children’s access to education and make it easier for them to go to school fast, safe and dry.
  12. She represented Bohol in Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She won four special awards namely Miss Cream Silk, Miss Downy Sweetheart, Miss Cetaphil Sun and Face of the Universe.
  13. She is an advocate for the use of art in helping raise awareness to environmental protection among children.
