Luigi “The Italian Stallion” Vendramini, 24, of Italy and Brazil was one of the winners at “UFC on ESPN 16,” which is also known as “UFC Fight Island 4.” It was the Italian-Brazilian mixed martial artist’s first victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Featuring 11 MMA matches, “UFC Fight Island 4” took place at the Flash Forum on Yas Island, also referred to as the UFC Fight Island, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 3, 2020 in the United States or October 4, 2020 in the UAE. In the first bout of the evening, Vendramini fought Jessin “Abacus” Ayari, 28, of Nuremberg, Germany in the lightweight division.

Vendramini has been competing professionally since 2016. Before joining the UFC, he competed in Magal Fight, Centro Oeste Fight, Aspera Fighting Championship, Inhumas Fight Championship MMA Combate, The Warriors Combat and Samurai Fight.

“UFC Fight Island 4” marked Vendramini’s second outing in the UFC. When the Italian-Brazilian MMA fighter made his promotional debut at “UFC Fight Night 137” on September 22, 2018, he was knocked out by Elizeu “Capoeira” Zaleski, 33, of Brazil.
