South Korea and the Philippines were among the 15 countries represented at “ONE: Legendary Quest.” On the card were both mixed martial arts matches and ONE Super Series contests, featuring both kickboxing and Muay Thai.
ONE Championship held “ONE: Legendary Quest” at the Baoshan Arena in Shanghai, China on June 15, 2019. The third bout of the evening was between “The Big Heart” Yoon Chang Min, 25, of Busan, South Korea and Trestle “Jun Minion” Tan, 34, of Cebu City, Philippines.
Yoon was one of the three athletes who represented South Korea at “ONE: Legendary Quest” while Tan was one of the three representatives of the Philippines. Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Scotland, Thailand and the United Kingdom were also represented.
On June 12, 2019, Yoon and Tan had their official face-off during the press conference at Yunspace in Shanghai. The event was graced by ONE Championship Greater China chairman Hua Fung Teh and reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan, 31, of China.
Blue Corner
Tan is training out of California Fitness and Yoga in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where he is working as a trainer. He has been competing professionally since 2013.
In 2015, Tan joined ONE Championship. “ONE: Legendary Quest” marked his fifth bout in the promotion not including his ONE Warrior Series outing.
Red Corner
Born in South Korea on May 10, 1994, Yoon is training out of Team MAD in Busan. “ONE: Legendary Quest” marked his second ONE Championship bout.
On March 31, 2019, Yoon submitted Bala “The Tulunad Warrior” Shetty, 36, of India at “ONE: A New Era” in Tokyo, Japan. It was the Korean fighter’s debut as a professional MMA fighter and a ONE Championship athlete.
Fight Result
Yoon and Tan competed in an MMA match in the lightweight division. Olivier Coste served as the referee.
Coste put a stop to the lightweight contest after 4 minutes and 5 seconds in the first round. Yoon knocked out Tan.
Winning at “ONE: Legendary Quest” improved the professional MMA record of Yoon to 2 wins and 0 loss. On the other hand, Tan now has 4 wins and 9 losses.

Agilan “Alligator” Thani, 23, of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia faced ONE Championship debutante Yoshihiro “Sexyama” Akiyama, 43, of Osaka, Japan in an MMA match in the welterweight division. The Malaysian contender won via unanimous decision.
ONE Super Series debutante Alma Juniku, 18, of Australia challenged reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex, 27, of Thailand in the main event. The Thai defending champion won via unanimous decision.
