Jordan and Lebanon were among the 16 countries represented at “Brave 23: Pride and Honor” on April 19, 2019. It was the second Brave Combat Federation event to take place in the country.
Featuring 12 mixed martial arts matches, which include three title bouts, “Brave 23: Pride and Honor” took place at the Martyr Rashid Al-Ziyoud Hall Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan. The fourth bout of the evening was between Ali “The Royal Fighter” Qaisi, 28, of Jordan and Georges Bardawil, 25, of Lebanon.
Qaisi was one of the five fighters who represented Jordan at “Brave 23: Pride and Honor” while Bardawil solely represented Lebanon. Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, England, France, Iraq, Morocco, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Tunisia, the United States and Wales were also represented.
Blue Corner
Bardawil made his successful professional MMA debut in 2014. He joined Brave CF in 2018.
“Brave 23: Pride and Honor” marked Bardawil’s second Brave CF bout. He previously competed in Desert Force MMA, Evolution Fighting Championship and Cedar Fighting Championship, among others.
Red Corner
Qaisi earned his first professional MMA win in 2016. He joined Brave CF in 2018.
“Brave 23: Pride and Honor” marked Qaisi’s second Brave CF bout. He previously competed in Desert Force MMA, Kunlun Fight and Phoenix Fighting Championship, among others.
Fight Result
Qaisi and Bardawil competed in the bantamweight division.
After three five-minute rounds, the bantamweight contest was left in the hands of the judges. In the end, the referee raised the hand of Qaisi, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
Winning at “Brave 23: Pride and Honor” improved Qaisi’s professional MMA record to 7 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Bardawil now has 7 wins and 2 losses.
