Malaysia and Chinese Taipei were among the 16 countries represented at “ONE: Destiny of Champions” on December 7, 2018. The fight card featured seven mixed martial arts matches and four Muay Thai contests.

ONE Championship held “ONE: Destiny of Champions” at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In the ninth bout of the evening, Jihin “Shadowcat” Radzuan, 19, of Johor Bahru, Malaysia faced Jenny “Lady GoGo” Huang, 27, of Chinese Taipei.

Huang is a former ONE Women’s Atomweight World Title challenger. She started her martial arts training with taekwondo when she was 8, started training in judo at the age of 12, earned her black belt when she was 16 and inevitably began training in other disciplines.

In 2015, Huang made a successful professional cage debut and caught the attention of ONE Championship. Since joining the promotion, she has registered many spectacular stoppage wins.

In 2016, the Taiwanese fighter won the Submission of the Year award due to her victory via gogoplata. This earned her a shot at ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela “Unstoppable” Lee’s world title in 2017.

“ONE: Destiny of Champions” marked Huang’s seventh bout in ONE Championship. She was the only fighter representing Chinese Taipei in the event.

Radzuan is a former Wushu World Champion and Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts Women’s Champion and is one of the finest female martial artists to emerge from Malaysia. Her first exposure to martial arts was a brief stint training in silat when she was six years old and she soon discovered Ultimate MMA Academy.

After just three months of training, Radzuan competed in Muay Thai for the first time. Driven by a hunger to compete, she followed that up with bouts in wushu, BJJ, kickboxing and boxing, capturing a wushu world championship along the way.

The Malaysian fighter joined ONE Championship in March 2018. Since then, she has put together two impressive victories.

Including Radzuan, there were three Malaysian fighters on the “ONE: Destiny of Champions” card. The other two were Mohammed “Jordan Boy” Mahmoud, 22, and Agilan “Alligator” Thani, 23.
