Fighting out Gujar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan, Muhammad “The Spider” Imran, 26, is entering the ONE Championship cage again with a grateful heart. Recently, the Pakistani mixed martial artist thanked several people who made his return to the Singapore-based martial arts organization possible.

On November 17, 2018, Imran will represent Pakistan at “ONE: Warrior’s Dream.” He will compete against Elipitua Siregar, 21, of Jakarta, Indonesia.

“I am once again thankful to ONE Championship, especially to matchmakers Matt Hume, Ric Auty and Bashir Ahmad, for this opportunity and InshaAllah,” Imran stated. “I will not disappoint my country.”

In addition, Imran praised the efforts of his coach and his manager. The Pakistani ONE Championship athlete said, “All this would not be possible without Jalil Ahmad and Muhammad Rizvan Ali who are taking care of us as athletes and I won’t disappoint the team.”

Featuring 11 MMA bouts and three ONE Super Series striking contests, “ONE: Warrior’s Dream” will take place at the Stadium Istora in Jakarta. In the eighth bout of the evening, Imran and Siregar will compete in the strawweight division.

“I respect my opponent and I have seen his last two fights in ONE Championship,” Imran said of Siregar. “The opponents he had faced were not much experienced like me. I know he is a great wrestler and I am prepared for him.”

Imran is representing Pakido Gym in Gujar Khan. He has been training with some Afghan fighters for his upcoming fight against Siregar.

“ONE: Warrior’s Dream” marks Imran’s second bout in ONE Championship. He is the only Pakistani fighter on the card.

On January 20, 2018, Imran made his ONE Championship debut. He faced Stefer “The Lion” Rahardian, 31, of Jakarta at “ONE: Kings of Courage” at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta.

In the co-main event of “ONE: Kings of Courage,” Imran and Rahardian competed in the strawweight division. After three five-minute rounds, the Indonesian fighter won via unanimous decision.

Holding a professional MMA record of 5 wins and 2 losses, Imran is known as one of the top MMA prospects from Pakistan. Before joining ONE Championship, he competed in Pak Fight Club, the first MMA promotion in Pakistan where he is a former strawweight champion.
